Your Lab Has
Idle Equipment.
Other Labs Need It.

LabWallio is developing an organisation-first approach to possible on-site laboratory equipment access for Austrian life science organisations.

A proposed path to on-site equipment access

The initial concept keeps instruments with their host and makes each access decision subject to method, safety and availability review.

List or Request Equipment

Tell us what equipment your organisation needs or may be able to host. Early access is demand discovery, not a live verified inventory.

Connect Securely

The roadmap separates organisation verification, NDA evidence and permissions. These controls must be active before protected access is claimed.

Visit & Run Your Experiment

Travel to the host lab, follow its approved sample and safety rules, use the instrument as agreed, and leave the equipment installed with its host.

Planned foundations for governed equipment access

The roadmap separates organisation identity, confidentiality, permissions and host-controlled workflows. Planned features are not presented as live.

Commercial model status

Equipment Access Workflow

Planned scheduling will respect host approval and access rules. Public early access does not expose live availability or instant booking.

Controlled Communication

Planned messaging will support documented organisation workflows. It is not presented as an active protected channel today.

Versioned NDA Foundation

Planned: explicit NDA versions and acceptance evidence. Early-access registration does not itself execute an NDA.

Evidence-Led Impact Method

Planned only after transparent boundaries, source data and uncertainty are defined. No fixed saving is claimed today.

Equipment-Only Initial Scope

The researcher travels and the instrument stays at the host. Chemical exchange and LabWallio-managed logistics are outside the initial scope.

Organisation Verification

The product foundation includes a staged organisation-review workflow. Verification does not itself activate bookings or legal readiness.

Explore Hosting Readiness

Describe possible host capacity and the conditions your organisation would require before any access could be considered.

  • Define host-controlled availability and access rules
  • Review method fit, safety and operator support
  • Validate commercial assumptions before activation
  • Confidentiality controls remain a gated roadmap item
Startups & Researchers

Compare Access Before Buying

Compare host-lab access, core facilities, outsourcing and ownership using your method, timing and written quotes.

  • Register equipment demand for the future Austrian network
  • Access after method, safety and availability review
  • Organisation verification and NDA are separate gates
  • Compare written, scenario-specific quotes

Commercial model under validation

Final plans, fees and included capabilities are not approved. Early-access conversations help validate a transparent organisation-to-organisation model.

No checkout or binding price is active

Any future quote will depend on the instrument, method, support, consumables and host requirements. Contact us to discuss needs; contacting us creates no booking or contract.

Impact measurement needs evidence

Shared access may improve asset utilisation, but environmental and financial effects depend on the actual alternative. LabWallio will not calculate them until a reviewed method and source data exist.

Evidence before activation

The public site describes the direction of travel. Availability, verification, confidentiality and commercial terms are confirmed only through reviewed workflows.

Organisation-first

Access is designed around accountable organisations and host-lab rules, not anonymous consumer transactions.

Clear state

Planned capabilities remain labelled as planned until engineering and external gates are cleared.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about lab equipment sharing and the LabWallio platform.

What is lab equipment sharing?

An organisation may offer governed, on-site access to an installed instrument. Researchers travel to the equipment; method fit, safety, confidentiality, availability and cost are agreed for each case.

What is LabWallio exactly?

LabWallio is building an Austrian, organisation-first foundation for future laboratory equipment access. The public website is currently an information and contact channel — not a live inventory, booking, payment or impact-reporting platform.

How much can my lab save?

There is no universal savings figure. Cost depends on the instrument, method, operator support, consumables, travel, timing and the real alternative. Final LabWallio pricing is still under validation.

How is my IP and research data protected?

The roadmap includes controlled, versioned confidentiality workflows. Contacting LabWallio does not execute an NDA; organisations must use their approved confidentiality process until that workflow is available.

Is equipment transported between labs?

In the initial model, the instrument remains at the host laboratory. Researchers travel to the equipment and follow the host organisation's approved access, safety and sample-handling rules.

Which Austrian cities are covered at launch?

LabWallio is collecting early-access conversations with Austrian organisations. Availability and expansion will be communicated after the relevant engineering and external gates are cleared.
